About Dr. Cohen
Dr. Camille F. Cohen earned her Doctorate of Optometry, in 2014, from Salus University. She has her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The University of Miami. She has experience in private, hospital, and retail practice settings. Her publications include a research paper with Bascom Palmer, newsletters with The National Optometric Association (NOA), and articles with Rise Art and Design Eyewear and Real Simple magazine. Dr. Cohen served as the 2017-2019 Director of Communications for the NOA and currently serves as a board member for Women in Optometry.
She was the 2018 NOA Service Award recipient, for community service projects, here in Brooklyn, NY, as well as Montego Bay, JA. She was named one of the 2020 Most Influential Women in Optical by Vision Monday, with features in Women in Optometry and Eye Care Business Magazine. Most recently, she earned the Dr. Melvin Shipp Young Optometrist of the Year Award, at the 2021 NOA Convention. Currently, she co-owns and manages her own practice, a Pearle Vision franchise office, in Park Slope, NY.
